MMS Help, Please.

I've just really started using MMS as a result of adding my daughter to my plan and her "need" for unlimited text/messaging.
I have been successful at sending MMS with recorded (via phone) audio but seem to be unsuccessful at attaching .wav files; it reads, on my daughter's phone, that the ".wav file has been deleted".
Is MMS limited to audio recorded by the phone and/or for certain file types?
Note that I have had the .wav files located in both the "My Sound" folder and in the Windows folder and get the same result.
Thank you for any help/enlightenment.

After talking with a pleasant TMO tech I discovered that sound files recorded by the phone are of .amr type.
I used Total Video Converter (nice app) to convert my .wav files to .amr and they now work with MMS.
Not sure if other file types work as well but that's another day.
Cheers
