LG CU400 problem with Bitpim

I followed everything that was posted on how to get Bitpim to work with my LG CU400 w/BT dongle. No matter what port I choose, Bitpim does not see my phone. I setup my phone in Bitpim as 'other CDMA phone', my BT is setup fine on the phone and on my PC, I can transfer files via Blue Soleil or another prog I have (Mobile Action Tool) but I want to get to the 'filesystem' via Bitpim so I can tweak a few things. Can someone help me out here? I can't figure out what the problem is.
