I am looking for a prepaid phone. Looking to spend in the area of $100. Want a phone that looks nice and has a camera. Any advice as to what phone to get and where I should get it?

Your zipcode would help in making a recommendation.

T-Mobile has good coverage in your zipcode.
T-Mobile to Go has a Samsung t319 for $89.99 that has a camera with a $25 refill card included when you buy it on t-mobile.com
Call 1-877-387-4324 and talk to CS and Ask about the Gold Rewards Program.

You helped brokestudent - Prepaid phone - area of $100 with camera.

I'm disabled & get around on a mobility scooter. I've been using Tracfone for about 2-3 yrs for emergencies & quick phone calls only. (no problems).

Recently I had an uncomfortable experience & wished I had a camera phone. So I'm looking for one now. Did lots of research & am overwhelmed & confused.

The camera/phone needs to have a computer connection (USB). Flash wld be nice, but not important. Decent picture (webcam quality ok - 640x480).

I prefer keyboard buttons rather than a smooth keyboard (but wld consider if phn + camera combination is good).

I'm not concerned about looks.

Can you assist me? Area code 33322 (Ft Lauderdale FL)
Thnx

Scooterlady,
Try the Tracfone Motorola C261 for $40 at Wal-Mart it has VGA quality(640 x 480).
It does not have USB support; email the photos to yourself. Trac charges 1.5 units to email the photo. If you purchase the C261 go to Trac's website and sign up for their Tracfone insider program and you get and extra 20 minute each time you refill.

I use my C261 strickly(sic) a as a camera- I take pictures of my classroom whiteboard-I teach Math and I somethings present a topic differently from what's in my notes. I take picture in order to incorprate the new method.

You also can try the Samsung T319 as I recommended for brokestudent. This phone does not have USB connectivity. You can send your picture by picture messaging. However, your zipcode gets 3 bars out of 5 bars for reception.

I hope I have been of some help.
