Anyone tried this phone? I have been using it for a few days now and I really like the Voice Over IP for wi-fi phone calls. A lot of the features are hit and miss but voice command is excellent.

I am going to buy this phone and would like to know how you use the VOIP through WiFi for making calls. Do you need a Skype or similar account? Will it work with Vonage? Or do you need to be part of a corporate PBX? Any info will be appreciated!

I have been using this phone for a week or so and love it. The Wifi works great and its pretty feature rich. I am having trouble setting it up with my vbuzzer account for voip. Has anyone done this successfully. With the settings available on the phone i can recieve voip calls but am not able to make outgoing calls. Any help will be appreciated.

I've had mine for about 6 days. I have been working it like a dog. The wifi is great. The push email service is fantastic. The only problem I have is getting used to the tiny keys. They are smaller than the ones on my Samsung Sync. I have not tried VoIP yet, but plan to in the near future.

I just picked one up on a whim to test the VOIP (which I haven't had a chance to do yet) and it's a decent smartphone. I have 2 T-Mobile Dashes, 1 Wizard, 1 TyTN II, 1 Treo 700W, 1 MPx220 and a slew of non windows mobile phones (plus a LOT of PPCs) and I like this phone a lot. It's lacking some key features and the screen resolution is a little to be desired, but I like the phone as a solid phone.

After I created a custom home screen and got used to T9 all over again, I'm digging it. I go through a lot of security check points and this gets much less Eagle Eye as opposed to my TyTN II or Dash.

For someone wanting a windows mobile smartphone with push email and all the great WM6 functionality without looking like nerd-boy for having a QWERTY phone, it's a great phone.

CONS: SLOW processor (pull up a contact and go to change the ring tone - go make some coffee - walk the dog - wash the car - and it will PROBABLY be ready to go when you get done - but not guarenteed). Not 3G (which I'm really used to but neither is the Dash). AT&T's phone identifier recognizes it as an HP PPC PDA w/ QWERTY (which could screw up your data plan if they start to care about that sort of thing).

But, I'll say it again. For a small, light phone with all the contact, calendar functionality with PUSH activesync, it's my first choice.

The 510 doesn't do a good job of freeing up memory after a program is used and closed. I use a program called Oxios Memory to make sure that when I close a program, the memory is freed up. I find that is also has the affect of speeding up operations on this little jewel. Next thing I am going to try is overclocking. I've been told you can safely overclock the cpu from the native 200mhz to 252mhz. That should give some improvement.
