I have a slider remix kx5 currently registered under US Cellular. A friend of my girlfriends gave it to her and she didnt want it because she doesnt want to lose all of her contact info. she gave it to me I and i want to unlock it and use it under my alltel carrier. does anyone know how to totally reset the phone? does it have anything to do with typing 111111 then going into options and then from there going into the service menu? and how do i find out the six digit security codes in those services?

Kyoceras do not posess a 'master reset' functionality. Everything must be done manually. Also, CDMA phones can not be 'unlocked.' You would either have to get the firmware flashed to Alltel, which they will not do for you, or you would have to manually change all of the settings yourself. Even if you changed all of the settings yourself, you would have problems with messaging, data, the roaming indicator, etc.

You mention SPC but obviously don't know what it means.

SPC stands for service programming code.

What Do You Mean Unlock It? If You're Talking About OBEX, You Won't Be Able To Use It.

I don't understand the purpose of the your post -- it is kinda_blsht, no precious info. Actually I just learnt the ethiology of LGIC. Why did you guess I didn't know the spc?
Where the f/// did you appear such a clever simple man?

I'm guessing you meant to say you just learned the etiology of a Ligand-gated ion channel? I'm a bio-chem major, pilot. You don't need to try and scare me with big words like that. And I really hope you're not studying that stuff because you can barely spell.

I answered four questions and got to make fun of you. Sounds like a purposeful post to me.

Entry not recognized. Please try again. Also, going around the curse filter is against hofo policy.

don't you know that acronym stands for LG Infocom(m) Co? The signature was connecting with somebody.
I guess you understand fine, don't judge anything you don't understand properly.
Mind your tongue and hofo poicy yourself, you smart aleck.
