How far off would you guess a HSDPA BB is? I'm evaluating the Curve, 8800 and 8830 (VZW). If a HSPDA BB isn't too far off, I'll get the 8800 with ATT and if it is a year + down the road, I'll stick with VZW for the faster speeds.

My guess is late 2008/early 2009.

From the rumors I've heard it should be end of 2007 beginning of 2008. However, I wouldn't base a purchasing decision on a device that may be available in six months. That said, check out www.blackberryforums.com for more information, as I've read there the EVDO doesn't help much with the BB unless you are teathering. The limiting factor is the browser/device.

i would think by years end. RIM seems to be good about updates.....
and I'd assume they would want to up the ante as they continue to do.
