toshiba 803t voicemail?

kay so ive gotten my toshiba 803t for awhile now, and ive been too lazy until now to figure out this whole voicemail thing. when i just "divert" the calls or even just not answer it, it just hangs up the call and doesnt go to my voicemail. so...how do i set the entire thing up? im with the fido prepaid thing...
