Looking for a phone...

...For my Mom who needs a small phone with a big screen, that's easy to dial and read. I need it to be unlocked, GSM, and must have 850. She's just using it to call and doesn't need all of the bells and whistles. Must have a color screen. I'll look at anything in any price range.
What do you suggest?
(My first thought was a HTC Prophet...)

Samsung D807? When you dial the numbers massively occupy the screen and you dont even need glasses to dial, plus its a slider and its quadband.

A RAZR has a fairly big screen, and the first-gen ones can be had for fairly cheap in unlocked form. Should do nicely.

As I said before, a Motorola RAZR V3. Cheap, functional, nice big 2.2" color screen, thin. A bit wide, but to have a decent sized screen there's going to be width involved. Lots of them running around Ebay unlocked...I just bought 2 for my parents.

And D807, has a 2.4" screen and like I said, when you push the numbers on the keypad, they'r shown as oversize digits on the screen making reading possible for the ones with weak eyesight.

That's a bar phone, right? So now he's got a choice between a bar and a flip. 
Beyond that, there isn't going to be a lot...phones have been trending smaller and smaller these days, and screen size suffers because of it. 2.2"-2.4" is about as good as it gets on a regular phone.

Its actually a slider, so yes, he does have a choice between two styles, flip and slider
