Everything I've seen for this phone looks great, but can I create my own mp3 ringtones, and upload them?

I enjoy making very custom mp3s for callers and having each caller with their own unique ringtone.

No, no, I know how to create my own, and I've been using them for a while, I just wondered if it was possible to use your own on the Ocean or does it try to make you stick to the stock or bought ringtones.

Glave: You can use your own Mp3 selections as ringers...BUT you must convert them to .MMF format before you can place them onto the phone---and you will have to e-mail them as attachments to do that. There are some guides at www.heliocity.net that will walk you through this process.

I have been trying to e-mail the .mmf files to my gmail and yahoo mail and it doesnt work. All i get is a bunch of weird letters when i click download. Can someone help me out with this?

I found out myself, you have to send them to your helio email account.

i sent my ringtones to my yahoo account on my ocean and it worked fine. thats kinda strange that the helio mail is the only way that u can get ur ringtones.
