I just jumped on the blackberry 8300 bandwagon, making me a blackberry user for the first time. As I continue to use this device, I'm sure I will wonder how things are done and if I can't find it in a search, I'm hoping I can find the answer to it if I post it on this thread.

So my first question is: how do you call a number that is displayed like this: 1-800-ASK-USPS ?

I was able to successfully dial it in, but it took some time since I had to recite the alphabet a few times.

How does everyone else get around to dialing these type of phone numbers?

Just press the Alt key and type the letters. The BB will convert it for you.
