Well I lost my Pearl the other day.... I don't think anyone has it because it still rings but no one answers... I call it at my house, my car, my girls house and her car and I don't hear the actual phone ringing... If I took a phone (which I wouldn't) I would turn it off, but its still on... My question is if I report it lost/stolen, will someone be able to use it... I know when the phone first turns on you get a text message from blackberry saying that the blackberry has been registered to the network, will it bar it from the network? Oh, and my service provider is TMO...

If you report it as stolen, they will not be able to use your SIM anymore. In the case of a blackberry, I believe they could still put another SIM in and use it as a phone. They won't be able to get the blackberry functionality though because the device PIN is assigned to you so they won't be able to register on the BB network.
