Still debating whether or not to go for it. Never owned a Moto (bad experience with fiance's old v551). I know they've come a long way since then though.

I just don't know about the interface. I know it's speedy, but so is my 6126. I still don't like the 6126's all that much. For many functions, you have to do things in 3 steps in what SE can do in 2 or sometimes even 1. Man, I love the UI of SE.

It IS a heck of a deal though! Don't know if I'd rather spend $ there or go for an unlocked SE S500i (the phone I REALLY want). I am very short on cash being an unemployed college student.

Thoughts??

I have one - I have had nokias, SE's and Sammys...I love this phone - the menus are fast - email and the net are amazingly quick if you are in a 3G area - the interior screen is terrific. BEST moto I have ever owned!!

I have a V3xx and would recommend it without hesitation. It's a good GSM phone but really excels on the 3G network.

I had a V551, and it was a horrendously bad phone. Don't be put off by that experience.

I thought there wernt anymore 1 year upgrades? At least in my system it gives no option to do that.

Wirelessly posted (Walkguru's: MOT-RAZRV3xx/96.71.95R BER2.2 Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; 11063081) Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 Opera 8.00 [en] UP.Link/6.3.0.0.0)

jus got my third one at walmart. 28 bucks.

is the $28 for upgrades, or just new lines? Does anyone know if other retailers have similar deals? The nearest Walmart is rather inconvenient to get to.

Can you get this deal if you have a premier account?

I must have been the only one with a bad experience with this phone

I'm on my second v3xx, gave my first one to my wife because she liked it a lot, no complaints from me.

By the way wal mart only has the regular v3xx, no platinum or gold.

I bought mine at Walmart two weeks ago for $28.88... it's a great phone. I really don't use the internet on it, but the voice quality is superior to my other GSM phones (Nokia 3595, Moto v551). My only complaint is when I close the flip while on a speakerphone call, it ends the call.
