When anyone plugged in their iphone to their computer was it read as a still camera? I am shocked that they have locked doen the usb mass storage aspect of the phone!

can you do anything with it? like take in a live video feed or use it as a mass storage device?

No it doesn't read as a mass storage, so no saving things. It's read as a still camera, so no video.

is there any way to get windows to not show that stupid popup that the camera is connected every time I connect my iphone?

I was just trying to figure that out. Mine is read as a camera by windows and more annoyingly, Photoshop elements insists on reading the entire contents of the phone each time I connect.

When it opens and asks you what to do with it click an option (I chose Import Photos under Vista) and check always do this when connected.

The only time you'll get a popup now is if theres actually photos on the phone telling you it imported them.

it doesnt take them off the phone BTW. Just copies them to your Pictures folder on the PC

(Dunno bout Photoshop - Photoshop is on the Mac side of my machine so it's a non issue for me)
