I am trying to decide if I should get the Siemens A56 or Nokia 3590 or Samsung R225m. answers to these question wil make my decision easier. Thank you.

1. I was unable to find reviews on the A56. Has anyone used it before? Has does it compare to the 3590 and R225 in RF reception, audio quality, and battery life? Any gripes?

2. Is there a was to get it unlocked? Is there a SIM lock and Browser lock? How do I check if its locked? Is there a way to test if the SIM lock is removed? How about for removal of Browser lock?

3. So far, the only source I found for the phone is Cingular dealers. Are there other people selling the A56 unlocked on the web?

I have tried all 3... IMO the RF in the 3590 was better. I have heard alot of horror stories about the Battery life in the A56 and Samsung r2225.

Feature wise I would go with the Nokia... the a56 is a starter fone and doesn't offer as much...and the 3590 has alot more featured than the Samsung.

If you want an unlocked fone check the b/s/t/ forum, ebay, or do a search on the web there are alot of online stores
