I have an unlocked blackberry 8800 from Cingular in the US that I have brought over to the UK for a 10 day trip. I have purchased a t-mobile prepaid sim and was hoping to be able to also use it for data, as it says with the Web'n Walk stuff. Right now my phone says "Data connection refused". Does anyone have any advice on setting the Blackberry up to be able to browse the internet (I don't need Blackberry e-mail and whatnot). Thanks so much.

Hi, this may be too late to do you any good, but I just got off the phone with T-Mobile NL after asking them pretty much the same question. They told me that only T-Mobile Blackberries can work on their network.

If anyone knows any workarounds, I'd welcome suggestions...
