The KB and Mouse are working fine but as far as the P800 goes I really don't see that I can do anything more than just pair it (it does show a "Dial-up Networking" selection in the service menu but thats it). Can someone help me as to whether this BT setup will allow transfering of files or not because I don't see/know how.

You should have done your research first. The keyboard and mouse will only function with the supplied Microsoft Bluetooth adaptor.
Kinda defeats the purpose of Bluetooth, huh.

I did do some searching first but didn't see an affirmative that there wasn't a way. I thought maybe there was some sort of update possible! Oh well it can just go back if its a dead end.
BTW it does state on the front of the box that it "Easily connects other Bluetooth-compatible devices to your PC".
Looks like outside of a wireless modem connection you're right "kinda defeats the purpose of bluetooth"

An excellent article (at least to me) regarding about bluetooth and microsoft bluetooth keyboard/mouse review.
Hope this helps.

"The current drivers do not give access to the network function, so we could not connect the Toshiba laptop to run file transfers. Likewise, we failed to connect the Palm Tungsten T because to synchronize everything via Bluetooth, which would be the main advantage, it appears you need to have the network function too." from the article
therefore, you probably can't do network transfer with the driver from ms bluetooth keyboard/mouse

Sucks that they would do that but what more can you expect from mircrosoft.
