Why hello there! and thanks for taking the time to even look at this

Well i've been using a nokia 6630 for about 2,5-3 years now. and i really love it but its getting old and its timef or an upppgrade. and im looking at the n80.
I love the superior screen res 352*416 px.
But i see most new s60 devices uses 320x240. will i be able to install a prorgam designed for another s60 device on mine decpite the differnaces in screen size?
I realize i cant install programs bak from the golden days
Is there anything special i should keep in mind or think about before buying this phone?
THanks in advance Coffeh

Most software will scale to fit the N80 screen, but most are optimized and will look best on a QVGA screen.

If you get the N80, be sure to get a spare battery.

Bear in mind that the N80 is old too. Any reason you're not lokoing at something more current?

In my experience, programs work just fine on the N80's random screen resolution. Games however can look different if not installed with the N80's screen size in mind.

I love my N80 to death, but, seeing how you kept your 6630 for almost 3 years, maybe you should look at something that will get you a lot of mileage (and is also slightly more current).

If you had your heart set on the N80, then by all means, you will love it...especially coming from a 6630. If you are looking for something to give you three good years, I would look at an N95. The phone has many features that phones will have for a while...it isn't really lacking anything, and thus, will keep you satisfied until the next big thing comes out.

Maybe he wants to save some $$$? And it's getting a little "old", but its features are still way above average even as far as the N-Series is concerned.

the main issue is the battery.
