There must be something wrong with P2K tools version 3 because when I modified the menu on my PEBL, the "personalize" menu is no longer accessible!!!

Is there any way to make a full reset to get the menu options as they were?

yes, if you backed up your phone, you could restore it. Im guessing you did not, so you will have to flash the phone with firmware, unless you can retrace your steps.

Your guess (that I didn't back up my phone) was pretty good!

Now does anyone know where I can get the latest firmwear and what software to use to flash my phone? Or does anyone know where I can get this done in Montreal???

i like P2KTools 0.8.6 on the pebl. the pebl menu does not lend itself to modding - at least i haven't read of someone really being able to change it. i modded a V3i menu for use on mine - not much difference except i have a video icon so i don't have to drill down thru the menu system. the file i posted is of a stock, unlocked, out of the box pebl.

That is strange...

I uploaded that file to my phone and the menu did, in fact, change BUT when I try to select the peronalize menu option... still nothing happens.

Any ideas?

try this mma_ucp also. do you remember exactly what you did when you tried to modify the original menu?

I was able to re-open the Personalise menu by removing the "quick menu" in the Office Tools.
