HTC S620 keeps switching off!

I have an HTC S620 which is a great phone but mine has a life of its own. Sometimes for no reason I can think of it switches itself off. I switch it on, the screen lights up, then goes dull and then switches itself off again. This happens over and over and maybe on the 20th time it will let me get as far as unlocking it and then its OK. I have no idea why it does this, its not the battery as its often fully charged when it happens. Im as technical as a tea bag so it could be something obvious that only a complete twit would miss...has anyone ever had this happen? Any ideas or help will be very very welcome. Thanks!

Mines was doing something similar. It was a being caused by app running in the background. Just reset it and it should work fine again. Please note that reseting it will erase all your data and retun it to the way the phone was out of factory.

Thanks for that, at least it isn't something I'm doing wrong! I'll reset it and see what happens. Cheers.
