Razr Home screen frozen. HELP.

Last night i was plugging in my v3 with a USB to transfer pictures from my phone to the computer.

during the process, p2k commander began to load A:/ (the standard directory for my phone) and it stopped part way through the load.

from that point on the main menu on my razr as well as my home keys didn't function properly. so I turned off my phone, and turned it back on. the problem, everything EXCEPT THE TOP BAR (with bars of service, network availability and battery) was black.

after a while, the phone entered screen saver. after ending the screen saver, the top bar continued to show, but the screensaver was frozen on the home screen.

any suggestions as to what may be wrong and how to fix it?

i cant access the menu to do resets or clears, i can't read text, or see anything in the home screen, HOWEVER, i still can make and take calls.

pull the battery, let the phone sit that way for about 10mins, then boot it back up. Try that first.

i tried that once. didnt get any results. but i only left it for like two minutes. i'll try it again.

no sir, no success.

i still get the bar across the top with the battery, ring style icon, messages, and service, but everything below it is still frozen.

i tried a master reset (on my phone, menu key, right, down, select, 5 down, select, 2 up, select, 000000 select, left soft key) but no success.

probably on account of the menu freezing initially.

is there a way to hard reset?

okay, then it might need to be reflashed with firmware. Sounds like something is corrupt in the DRM or the flex. If you have not obviously modified the phone, and are not familar with flashing, you may want to take into your service providers store.

haha oh man i've modded it a bit.

right now im working on finding a reflash or monster pack.
i just downloaded RSD

i've never had to flash my phone so if you know what would be my best option for a reflash or monsterpack flash, it'd be a big help.

i use centennial wireless so i'd probably need a moto stock flash, not a carrier specific.

Do you have a TF card loaded? If there is a corrupted file on the card it will fork up your phone, I just went through that a few days ago.;
