The official WM6 upgrade will be free when it officially comes out. I mean it is August in a week or so and still no sign of it, and AT&T still has to roll out the WM6 upgrade for the Treo 750 too. I have an unofficial WM6 upgrade on my HTC 3600 and it works much better then the OEM WM5 and it looks a lot better too. Personally, it ran better then the Official WM6 Dopod release so I stuck with the unofficial. So official doesn't always mean better. |

I would not surprised if we don't see the update. From what I have read about the upgrade I'm really not too sure why folks want it. Now if the update gave us WiFi (BJ does not have the hardware to support it since AT&T make Samsung take it out), and a Bluetooth fix, that might be something worth longing for..... |

If they don't update the BJ, I will be done with AT&T! |

Other then that its gravy. Sure the left softkey doesn't change to "Message" when you get a message... but you do have a freakin' dedicated key for Messages, so it ain't all that important. Battery = same. Speed is different though. It takes a little bit longer to turn on... but it is snappier when running. The End Key problem went away after a few soft-resets. I've been using WM6 for almost a month now and I haven't reset it since the first day I flashed WM6 (I reset a few times that day afterwards during testing). There aren't really too many features that are introduced to really make the upgrade lucrative... but any enthusiast would want to do it or anyone who just wants to try it out. If you upgrade to WM6, just act as if you first pulled it out of the box and set up the device completely manually. Don't use any backups other then what Activesync provides (I only synced my contacts and calendar appointments). |

I have been looking at the 8925 but not sure I want to go back to a large "brick" phone. The Treo 750 is looking good but I have heard too many negative things about it. |
