How can E816/hollywood been used in china?

I brought a E816 from US to China after knowing they established CDMA network owned Chinaunicom. And my phone found the network immediately after landing at the airport.

The problem is, all Chinese CDMA phones use a card simliar to the SIM card we have in US for GSM. Since there is no way I can put a card inside my Moto, I stuck with a dead phone with a full signal.

Obviously, some serious works need to be done to the E816 if I really want to use it. Can anyone give me some clues to begin with?

Unless you can get the AKEY from the China Unicomm , no one can help you out

Thanks for the reply. Actually, after playing around with the phone, I found out the following things:
1. I can directly call any Chinese phone number without adding country code.
2. To call US number, I have to add 001 as country code.
3. I can't connect to any add-on service from Amp'd, even "my account". So I have no idea what the rate is for call in and out. I think it is some kind of international roaming.
4. So at least I can at least make calls and receive call from my friends if they don't mind paying international long distance.

So now I have a phone with a US number roaming on Chinese network. I will see how long the $1 balance left in my prepaid account will last.
