Hey All,
I am currently on a contract with Rogers in New Brunswick, Canada. I want to upgrade my current fone to the S55 and I have some questions. First, will it be compatible? What would I do with my old SIM card and would I have to unlock the S55 or anything? Second, where should I look into buying one and how much should I expect to pay? Anything else that I should be aware/wary of? Sorry if some of theses answers are obvious, but I'm a real cell noob.
Thank everyone!

You should have no probs using the S55 with Rogers. Just take you existing sim card and put into the S55 and away you go. There are no locked S55's.
You should be able to find one on line for about $580 Cdn. Try either www.expansys.us or ebay.

Carsmovies,
Thanks for the quick reply. I had no idea it would be that expensive! Do you recommend any of the blue tooth headsets?

You could wait until the S56 comes out. I'm pretty sure Rogers will carry it but not exactly sure when. It would be less expensive if you sign up to a new contract.
i'm using the Jabra freespeak headset and it works quite well and is one of the least expensive ones. I've heard the Sony Ericsson model 30 is also good and reasonably priced.

Rogers AT&T will NOT be carrying the Siemens s56....
if you wanted to buy the s55 I would check the BST forum I have seen some great deals in there for the fone. The s55 is comes unlocked so you can use your Rogers sim in it. I use the HBH 30 with mine but have tried the Jabra and HBH 60 with it... all works great. If you want a good deal on a BT headset buy the Jabra it's the cheapest out of the three
