v3m "UNABLE TO RECORD MOVIE"

This is bizarre....makes no sense to me whatsoever...

so i just wrecked my phone a few days ago (spiked it off the dashboard...long story), and got my replacement (insurance works out to my benefit for once) in the mail today.

Obviously I got right to hacking it, everything went fine, but then I saw the video duration mod, which I hadn't seen before, and the short video length was always a pet peeve of mine, because w/ the v710 there was no limit to the video length when recording to the TF card.

Anyway, I went to test out the mod, and it didn't work. I re-copied the arcconfig.ini over, and then tried again. Worked fine for about 17-18 seconds, and then it popped up with "UNABLE TO RECORD MOVIE". Then, any further attempts to record a movie were thwarted with the same message immediately, with no recording whatsoever.

I had the storage device set to the card, and after no luck, i switched it to the phone, and now it works fine.

For the time being this is alright, but it's very inconvenient to hvae to move them around, and once I amass more unnecessary crap on my phone, I'm sure it will be more of an issue.

I searched, and could only find one other post about this problem, and it was unanswered.

Any help would be appreciated.....only thing left to try that I can think of is try to set up the 'my_pix' etc. folders.

Thanks in advance.

You could try taking out the sd card and turning off the phone/taking out the battery for about 10 minutes, and maybe a master reset/master clear if your up to it.
