V635 Help Needed Badly

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I have the Moto V635 and have shattered the screen. While I have a new phone to use now, I realized my Contacts are NOT on my sim Card. Can someone tell me the menu steps I need to take (because I am doing this blindly of course) in order to copy my contacts to my SIM card.

Thanks in advance

I think you have to do it on a per-contact basis. Wouldn't it be simpler to hook up a data cable and pull them down off the phone using Motorola Phone Tools?

I cannot get it to connect to Phone Tools or P2kman and these contacts will be used in a non-Moto phone. I do know that you can just copy the entire phonebook to the SIM in one step

Ok try this:

Assuming one of your "soft" keys (upper left or upper right) is programmed to "Phonebook"...

Press the phonebook key. Then press the top-middle key. Press UP six times, then select (middle button on the 4-way). Press DOWN once, then the upper-right soft key. That is the "copy -> All to SIM" choice.

Never done it, but I assume that's what you're wanting to do.

Disclaimer: It's possible that slight variations between flash version could cause this set of keypresses to not work on your particular phone, so no promises.

well it depends on if you changed your menu order or your softkeys cuz it depends on each phone but however u have it setup, get to your phonebook then press the middle menu button then press down 10 times, this will select copy, then press select which is the right softkey, then go down 1, which will highligh all to sim, then press the right softkey to select that, then press the right softkey again to say "yes" and it should do it. Since you cant see the screen wait about 5 mins and see what happens and pull out your sim card.
