A few weeks ago, my Verizon every 2 kicked in so I got an LG VX9400. I picked it not for the tv but thought it was a kewl looking phone. I'm not exactly 100% happy with it (my old phone was a moto v710) and have about 6 days left. At first I looked at the VX8600 but it's gone so I'm pondering the new chocolate 8550 in Blue.
There is really not much difference b/w the 2 but I've heard horror stories about the chocolate not being able to open. I think the flip thing with the 9400 will get tired after a while so I'm totally discombubulated..

Is there a better verizon phone than these 2 (dont like the env or the 8700) for the money? Which one is better in your guy's opinions?

Chocolates don't open? I have an 8550, my girl has an 8600, and whenever we're together she always uses my phone rather than hers, just because it's cooler, sounds better on reception, and it's a little easier to use... Go with the Chocolate.

Yeah, a few guys who work with my fiance have experienced their chocolates not opening and have had to get new ones..

That's pretty weird. I guess the worst that can happen is you have to go to verizon and get a new one.
