Best general European SIM card?

I'm trying to figure out which SIM card to get for a trip to Europe…I'm going to France for a month, then Russia, the Baltics, Poland, Slovakia and Germany for three weeks.
I was about to buy the Telestial Explorer but I read somewhere that it doesn't have voicemail. Also I can't figure out from its site whether it has that annoying requirement that you call a number, then wait for a callback. I have an old(er) card from ekit that does that with a little bit of time left, I was going to chuck that when it ran out.
So…I guess what I'm looking for is a cheap pan-European SIM card that has voicemail and doesn't require you to wait for a callback (if something that exists).
I also just realized T-Mobile has its own service called WorldClass that's free to activate (my phone from them is already unlocked and it's quad-band), but my head started spinning as I tried to figure out if there would be any substantial hidden costs with that route. It seemed too simple, to just be able to use my own phone/number at a reasonable rate.
P.S. Please let me know if there is a better (more specific) forum to post this in (I couldn't find one). Also if there are other websites with dedicated SIM card forums that have good discussions and minimal spam I would be interested in those, to increase my odds of figuring out what to do. Thanks

You might want to check out www.prepaidgsm.net. There is no single best SIM for everyone. You need to evaluate your particular situation and compare SIMs.
