Pantech C300 stuck on vibrate PLEASE help!

Hi all I got a pantech c300 and the darn thing is stuck on vibrate for some reason. The little icon shows on the main screen, even though in the settings I have it set for Ringing Tone and have the volume set up to an audible range. I have tried everything I can think of, but it's still stuck on vibrate. Can anyone help??? Thanks!!!

Press and hold * on the keypad for one second.
This is the hotkey that turns vibrate off and on.
Hope it works.
If not the phone is probably hosed.

You may want to try a reset, last option on the settings menu. Default password is "1234".

Be aware this will erase any images, ringtones, etc you've added to the phone and return all settings to factory condition.

how do you do u do a hard reset when the phone has been locked and you've forgoten the unlock code
