does the Motorola RAZR V3c work with bitpim going to get the data tranzfer cable to day and donty want to spend 30 bucks for nothing

It works fine for filesystem view (seeing the filesystem of the phone), I never could get phonebook, etc. to work. Also, you don't need to spend 30 dollars on a cable; Razr's use a simple mini-usb cable, you can pick one up for around 5 bucks at most retailers, they'll probably be by the digital camera's and/or psp's.

Do I need any other software aside from BitPIM? All I want to do is download pix from my wife's V3c.

nope, you should be all set with just bitpim.

Thanks! It worked. I just had to wait for WinXP to recognize and load the drivers for the V3c then was able to extract the pix with BitPim.

Depends on your carrier, and what you want to do...

Your profile says enV, so I'll guess Verizon...

If so, you'll need to first SEEM EDIT the phone if you want to ADD ring tones and wall paper to the phone.

I can't get bitpim to see the v3c at at all. I can't get it to connect manually either. Any suggestions?
