The link in my last post and this^^ (that I just added to the last post) was all I could find quickly looking around for it. Opera Mini's website lists two methods (wap and sms) to get the app without a data cable, I just don't know if they'll work with Nextel phones or not.

I already tried both before! They don't work! In fact several of our phones don't even work after cable download Opra. Do you know which models work with Opra.

To my knowledge, any phone that runs java should work with opera mini. However, I don't have much personal experience with Opera mini myself--I had it on my i870 and it worked fine for me (used webjal to load it).

Low end phones don't work probably because of less memory

Assuming you already have the JAD and JAR files, you can use Nextel's Mobile Application Manager to do an OTA download to your phone. I'm not going to repeat all the steps here, but you should be able to find older posts providing more detail now that you know what to look for.

I seen this, and figured would be an easier way of getting stuff onto my phone, until I get the cable and right soft lol... I went and created the account and such, but I am stuck at the part where I need my account number and pass. I tried my phone number, but that said invalid account number. Where can I find the account number, for a Boost account, to use on the Nextel/Sprint MAM pages? :

call and ask them what your account number is

Well, after going around and around, I finally got my account number from CS, and was able to get the account registered, get onto the MAM, and upload an app... But now, I cant seem to assign that app to my phone, regardless of what phone/firmware I select from the list for the app and the phone profile... lol.. Nothing seems to be easy. I would like to eventually put Opera Mini on my phone, but I cant even get a calculator to assign (when I try to assign an app to a phone, the phone list below is completely blank, so i cant assign anything, even though it is listed everywhere else)... Anyways, ty for the help on the account number!

I have tried to OTA load Opera Mini on my 870, and it won't do it as well... Just easier to do the cable version. However, I have to rename my jad and jar files to something shorter.......
