Hello all,
I am working on sending sending some ringtones I made. I have a LG VX9900 aka enV. I have used Quicktime, iTunes, and Audacity and it seems that ever time I send the ringtone to my phone using VZW messenger the volume is really really high, so high that it hurts my ears haha.
Anyone have any ideas to help me out?

Thanks in advance.

I think there's an option if you use bitpim to put ringtones on your phone that allows you to lower the actual decibel level of the sound. Just put the decibels to -20 or something.

Audacity also allows you to adjust the gain. I've gone the other direction and turned the volume up on a couple of really quiet ones.

Yes, Audacity can do this. Import your sound file into Audacity. Highlight the whole file. Click on "Effect", "Amplify" and set the level. You will probably have to check "Allow Clipping" if you want to really boost the volume.

Or u can use program MP3Gain. It's very simple and quick. I use him to increase volume on my KG800
