Hello, last night my ancient V551 randomly decided that is was time for the screen to die. Now, I know it is my own fault here, but none of my contacts are stored on the SIM card.
I desperately need help backing up my contacts so I can have them when I get a new phone.

Can someone please post or send me a step by step process of the keys to hit so I can (blindly) navigate my menus, or verify that the steps in this thread should match my phone?

Sorry but the only solutiuon is to buy (or find someone with a purchased copy of) motorola mobile phone tools cd + cable. download your phone book to your pc.
