i am trying to get the phone to the flash strap stage so that i can do the update but it keeps going to the contrast lcd.i have done searches and have found this mentioned one other time but no one responded, can ne1 help please

well i got it to work, i held down the # and * buttons
i was hoping the firmware would help my other issue, none of the buttons work, and they still dont after the update, any help would be appreciated
