In its place, tell them you would like MediaMax 200,1500,unlimited, whatever you want. The pricing/features are exactly the same, but now you don't have an iPhone plan. They will do this. YOU WILL LOSE VISUAL VOICEMAIL AND NOTHING ELSE, as visual voicemail is the only thing unique to the iPhone data/texting plans. After you've done this, AT&T doesn't think that you have the iPhone any longer, and therefore you get your employee discount back. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. And yes, I am currently doing this and it works perfectly (at least at this point). Cheers. p.s.- be sure not to act like a dumb *** on the phone call. Be very kind and gentle and let them feel your smile through the phone, even though that smile is a "I just screwed you so badly" type of smile. |

Go ahead and enjoy using your iPhone with MediaMax...just don't ***** and complain when your next bill comes and you get charged for data at a pay-per-use rate. P.S. To elaborate, it doesn't matter what SIM card you use or whatever, they will always know what device is connecting to their network and accessing their data using the IMEI/SN of the device. Many people tried to use their PDAs with Smartphone plans and although it worked, they got $1000+ bills in the end because the plans weren't valid. |
