I am going through the guide for windows trying to figure out how to do something and I cannot find any of the files it says to look for in Windows Vista. Does anyone else use Vista and know where I need to look to find them. I have used search and everything, and only found ipod files, no iPhone files anywhere.
Thanks,

I'm using Vista and just followed the directions. Was very straight forward for me. What are you stuck on?

first u have to get the files with the iphone at the beginning by restoring ur iphone on itunes. u have to press restore and then go through the dialogs. when the files start downloading u disconnect the iphone and let the download finish. to check the download there should be an option on the left hand side. if u follow the instructions one step at a time there should be no problem. re read the instruction and ask urself if uve done the steps

Since you have already done this, I'm having a problem. I go to upload the ringtones and follow the steps to make the directory and then change to that directory, then use the putfile comand. It looks as if the file goes in. I even do an ls on directory which shows the ringtone. When I resync the iphone the file is not there?
thanks

I renamed the file a couple of times with spaces and without. when i do the ls I see 3 files, these are the files I pu there previously. What is the procedure at that point. Do I undock the iphone and the redock and let it sync or what. The file name is remember.m4a
