LOST pictures need help!

ok guess so i did a restore and seems my pictures are gone that i took with the phone but for some reason the pics that were assigned to a contact seemed to saves them selfs and iam sure the other pictures are backed up also but can't find them if anyone knows where i can find them on the pc that would be nice as iam sure they got backed up when i sync to my itunes but can't find the dir please help

if you took the pictures via the iphone camera and did a restore they're gone. poof. for some odd reason itunes does not back up the 'camera roll' unless if it's stored in some super secret location which i doubt. same thing happened to me but i had copied them over to a different computer before. sorry for your lost pictures though..

Check your home directory on the computer and see if you have a folder with different dates. If so look in them and you probably will see your photos. If not going forward sync your photos to your computer.

If you assigned any picture as a contact the picture will only appear when that person calls you, but for some weird reason it won't be anywhere else

If not then the pictures are gone!
