Currently I have an employee plan with AT&T.

(no commitment, phones at a 30% discount off the full price)
I get:
1000 anytime minutes
5000 night and weekend minutes
200 sms
200 mms
unlimited blackberry data

for: $33.50

I find my self going over the 200 text and it comes at a rate of .3 per msg
which i see my self using an additional 500 or so sms... currently ATT sells text at either 200 for 4.99 or unlimited for 19.99 and because I get 200 already it makes no sense to add 200 which wouldn't actually come on top making it 400 it would still be 200.. and unlimited isn't good because id wind up paying more than what the overage normally comes out too..

or do i go with

sprint sero
1,350
unlimited n/w
unlimited text
unlimited data
for 49.99 month 2yr commitment phone at discounted 2yr price +

I'd probably pick up a Treo from Sprint most likely...

right now I have a BB 8700c.

I could get a Treo from ATT which would probably cost around 400 for the phone and then I could get unlimited data for 10 bucks a mont so in the end itd be like only 20+ tax...

what would you do

If Sprint has good coverage in your area, those Sero plans are almost impossible to beat. Definitly go for broke on those.

If you get good Sprint coverage in your area and can put up with their CS, then by all means go for it.
