I currently have for sale a HTC Kaiser unit somewhat fully functional and in perfect condition. The only problem with the unit is that it requires a reflash of a UK Tmobile Rom specially for the Kaiser. Currently there are no leaked roms for the TMobile UK region that is for the Kaiser. Eventually a rom will be leaked like all other HTC Device roms. However I currently have no use for the device as I have moved onto using a iPhone and am quite happy with it.

This device is a pre-production unit however work perfectly fine. The unit was working 100% correctly until the rom gave out (a personnel I spoke to within HTC stated there was a slight problem with the rom loaded on my device, but when I sent the device in the hardware checked out 100% functional). Only a rom flash with a UK Rom is required. The reason I'm being specific is that the device is CID and Sim Locked.

There are people already offering a Sim Unlock solution, but not CID for the time being. Once CID is offered there shouldnt be any trouble flashing with a Cingular US rom that is already out and about.

The device comes with all accessories and the box, note the box has no designs since it isnt in production, and no manuals are included as well. I suggest those with some knowledge in flashing and ppc handling are more likely to handle and enjoy this device as well as bringing it to life, however it does not require much knowledge to do so.

I will ship out w/ 2nd Day delivery with DHL as well for free.

Price for the unit starts at $1100 and is defenitely negotiable for now however those who offer fullprice within 30 mins of anothers that is of higher value will get first attention and will win the sale, (gotta pay bills and device wasnt exactly free on my side as well).

i know it is not ok to bash these threads but this member is asking for it how you figure selling a unit that does not work for more than 1 grand assuming there is going to be a fix
just like anything can happen towards a fix same percentage favors that there wont be a fix?

they didnt flash it with the uk tmo rom? if they did then the device is fully functional just means it wont work on anything but uk tmo.

To understand it fully you need a better knowledge as to how Window Mobile Devices work. In the past I have had a few HTC devices that would fail certain flashing procedures or would become bricked due to bad roms. So long as the device is fully functional (hardware wise) theres practically always a way to bring it back to its original state with a new rom. Also as in the past has shown, Roms are ALWAYS LEAKED OUT, I don't care who says otherwise but just like the Wizard and Tytn in short time the roms will start coming out of the woodwords.

There have been literally thousands of Tytn devices that would become bricked due to bad rom flashes, problems that occur during flashes, and etc. While 99% of the time all that was needed was for the device to be reflashed with the appropriate/any tytn rom.

I understand your concern your expressing, but rest assured this device will be functional as soon as a UK Tmobile Rom is released OR a CID unlock service is offered to allow flashing of any rom. I dont know how much more strongly I have to express that.. Which why I stated a decent to small amount experience dealing with these kind of procedures is highly suggested now.

Also another thing I stated in the thread is that the price IS NEGOTIABLE. If anyone has a question just pm or email I'll be happy to answer any questions.

HTC would only flash with a UK Tmobile rom however I didnt have time to wait for them to flash the device they were implying a 3-5 week wait. However you could try to send the device to HTC to see if they would flash it for you as well. Suggest contacting HTC America to see if its possible.

However like I stated in the thread once the device is flashed you can have it Sim Unlocked (allowing it to be used on any network such as T-Mo or Cingular), I will provide you with a contact as to how and where to go about that.

Again maybe for like the 3rd time now.. I dont know how to express it anymore. PRICE IS FREAKING NEGOTIABLE. Seriously, ppl please read the entire posts. I'm tired of getting pms asking to lower the price. If you want me to lower it then negotiate it! Don't just pm with straight forward requests to lower it and then not offer a price to me.

Please understand this device isn't exactly out and about as available as any other device. A full price for a HTC TYTN is like $600+ anymore (excluding the Softbank version). Do not expect to pay just only slightly more for a device superior then its predecessor. Granted it is not fully functional yet.
However the price for these units when released will be pretty steep once its first released. So you have two options. Get it now while the price is reasonable I'm looking for around 800, or wait till it comes out and possibly pay about $1,000+ easy.

Later tonight I'll try to relink the pics I took to this thread, (at work now). However the unit literally is in the same condition it came in, no marks, original screen protector still on (the factory preset protectors), and etc. Theres really has been no mark on it since then. If anyone still wants new pics I'll be glad to take them tonight if requested.

It seems "Indiglo" has a Cing and an HTC rom for the Kaiser... Won't this suffice? What rom came on it initially?

Although a price was listed and it is negotiatable, this is NOT A BIDDING site (ie ebay). So, whatever your asking price is, is it. It is ok to say (OBO) but no bidding.

Thank you Mike. Fair enough on the bidding, the price is now set at currently amount $850 now.

Currently I have one buyer who has given the okay to buy it however I am awaiting payment and havent heard from him yet. If I do not hear from him by tonight I'll offer the unit to anyone else still interested. If anyone wishes to be contacted if the sale doesnt go through please pm to do so. The contact will be done as first come first serve. So if the buyer doesnt reply then the one who contacted me most recent gets it w/ 12 hours time to pay.

I'm rushing because I need the money asap to be honest as I'm leaving the city for a few days on a business trip next week and won't be back untill Wednesday.

Do you realize that if you reflash any rom in it, you'd be able to sell it for at least 200$ more ;o

BTW any cingular rom will NOT work with the kaiser, you need to get an official RUU rom.

Unfortunately you can't flash just any rom on it yet as the device is CID locked. Unless you get someone to do a CID unlock on it you'll only get a Invalid Vendor ID like I get when trying to flash a Cingular USA Kaiser Rom.

even if it was cid unlockd... cingular doenst have a KAISER rom... since they havent pickd up the kaiser for them.... yet...

Yea XDA has a release posted from an anonymous user. Thanks for the reply lol. I actually have a buyer now that has agreed to pay soon. If all goes well by Monday I'll post the final msg saying its sold.
