Slimmest quadband phone?

Hi, so I had purchased a samsung x820 but unfortunately it doesn't work very well where I live in MD, so I'm selling it and I want to get another phone to replace my nokia that i'm using now...

i'm interested in something slim and stylish; I don't really care for 3G and wifi and other things because the only purpose for the phone is to make/receive calls. Any recommendations? Has to be able to work on Att's 850 network which will greatly reduce the # of options unfortunately...Thanks!

The Trace (Samsung T519) is the slimmest quad-band phone that I know of. It is for T-Mobile but you could find unlocked one on eBay.

unfortunately, i don't know what works for AT&T, but i can suggest some slim, stylish, and quadband phones. they are as follows:
samsung u600
RAZR (not really that thin anymore, relatively speaking)
nokia 6500 classic (not my idea of style, but you may like it)

The Trace is the thinnest quadband phone yet. Even the new Ultra II 5.9 is only triband, probably due to T-Mobile's influence.

I was under the impression that this phone could not be unlocked, but I just checked eBay, and there are 3 of them listed. Interesting. When I first saw this phone, I was pretty amazed at how thin it was. If only it didn't have the T-Mobile branding all over it, I might be interested in it.

It's definitely unlockable just like most Samsung GSM phones out there.

I just thought that I might have read somewhere that it was not unlockable. At one time Target had them on sale big time if you bought it as a PAYG, I should have jumped on it back then. $89 bucks out the door. Not too shabby, all it needed was an unlock. Hence the reason I didn't get one.

You can't get the crippled T-Mobile firmware out of it.

That's true.
