When did AIM start working?

A few months ago, links appeared with official AIM software for Blackberrys. If I remember correctly, most people (including me) weren't able to get it to work. I downloaded it to my Blackberry again yesturday and its been working ever since.

The link for the download was on my 7520's Blackberry browser. The link had been there for awhile, but the last time I downloaded the app, it didnt work.

It's currently only available for Sprint/Nextel customers.
