Hi, I have a moto V3i I got it around Jan 2006, in november 2006 it had an issue were it would not let me do anything it acted like it just wanted to turn the volume up. So I sent it to motorolia for repair and got it back 6 months later. everything works in the menu now but it gets no signal. I took it to my local cellphone repair shop and the guy said the antennia appears to be ok, he said I should try flashing the firmware with the latest firmware. I used to work as an electronics tech specialty radios and thus know how important firmware is. I have the DAP version but have no idea were to find the flashing software or the firmware itself. I have looked at other peoples forums and I just find dead links. I thank you for all your help and time in advance there are some really amazing techs here at this site.

to flash the phone you will need a program such as RSD lite ver 3.x. you can find it via Google. to find the files to flash, look on sites such as maxedmobiles, modmymoto, or motox.
