Hi all... I'm new here obviously, and had a question about my RAZR V3m.

I'm going to sell the phone, and I want to clear out all the data currently on it. I've managed to get everything off of it, and restore it back to factory condition (as far as I can tell), except for my original phone number.

I've tried the Master Reset and Master Clear functions, but neither did the job.

So, is there anyway to get my phone number removed before I sell it? I don't have a data cable, so I'm hoping I can do it some other way.

I did a search and couldn't find anything on it. Hope someone can help!

So I called Verizon to see how to get this taken care of. They helped me out. I figured I would post the information here:

1. Enter 74663#(CLR)(CLR) - Need to enter this fast
2. You're now at the User Activation Screen
3. Go in either NAM1 or NAM2 (which ever has your phone number)
4. Overwrite the phone number referenced (I used 0000000000), and save it
5. Recycle your phone

Can someone tell me how to do a master reset on this phone?
I read it's something like menu>settings>initial setup>master clear>security code = 000000 However, I don't have 'initial setup' on my phone. I have Verizon V3M with the 24.1_01.19.07 version.
