MING A1200 Problem Connecting to Service

Hi,

I bought this phone a year ago and has been the best phone ive ever used. Anyway, about a week ago it stopped connecting to ROGERS network (here in canada), Ive used the SIM card on my old phone and it works fine, also tried a FIDO SIM card (since its unlocked) and also doesnt work on the A1200 (continues to say SEARCHING...) Ive kept it in excellent care and has not had any physical damage recently.

Because its imported from the east, Motorola in north america wont do anything with it.

Im willing to pay to get it fixed but don't know exactly what good options are right now. Any help would be great.

problem probably is teh antenna inside the phone may be broken or dislocated, i think a1200's have a backup antenna that u can pull out too.
