RAZR V3 volume/connection problems

I have problems with the volume on my RAZR V3 - have downloaded various tools (Motokit, P2KTools) which are supposed to allow me to edit the gain files - all programs tell me that my phone is not connected.
Motorola phone tools sees the phone just fine with the USB cable connection, so the connection should be fine - HELP!

thera e certain versions fo those program of which u have to use get the name of ur phone model and go to esnips for all p2k programs. like i use 4.9d p2kcommander with my v190 and p2kman 5.4v with my n6100

vicrock, have you installed the P2K drivers? Motokit, P2KTools, P2KCommander, etc. require them, and they're not the same as MPT's drivers.
