Sprint Mogul - Roaming on Verizon Network

Hey Everyone,

I am just coming sprint after 5 very disastrous year with Cingular.

Anyways Sprint PCS says they have no roaming charges. Does that mean I would have access to Verizon's network where Sprint is not available? I know about the 50% rule. Based on Sprints nationwide coverage, it is quite greener then I remembered 5 years ago.

Also would Sprints Mogul be able to get on Verizons network? Meaning since it is dual band, is that enough for it to get on Verizon?

Thanks

PS: DO NOT EVER SIGN UP FOR CINGULAR/AT&T or whatever they call it in the future!!!

Sprint has a new roaming agreement with Alltel and it includes EV data where Verizon will not allow EV roamers you only get 1X I imagine Alltel is preferred in the Sprint PRL whereever possible and VZW when necessary but check the PRL to be sure. Sprint is native PCS and as long as the device picks up the faintest hint of a native sprint singal you will not drop down to a roam carrier. the phone is designed to run 850 MHz as well which is primarily what Alltel uses so you should be good unless you need analog for very remote areas. BTW if you were looking for an improvment in service and customer care Sprint was the wrong choice.
