I will have to give them a thumbs down. I purchased a phone (ETEN m700) from them on July 3rd and I have yet to get a working phone. I received the phone on a timely manner but when I got it, I noticed it wasn't charging. I called them up and they had me fill out an RMA request online. I sent the phone back (which cost me $25) the very next day and i think they received it on 7/12. I received my phone back today 7/24 (WITH A COD OF $20) and the phone is DOING THE EXACT THING!!!!! It does not charge (THEY SAID THE SWAPPED OUT THE BATTERY.) I seriously did not mind paying all those shipping charges if I was to get a working phone back the first time. NOW I have to send the PHONE BACK to phonesource-usa (WHICH WILL COST ME ANOTHER $20!!) The RMA guy told me they will replace it this time.

So I have paid an initial $45 for overnight shipping, $25 to ship it to them, $20 to get the phone back, now another $25 to ship it back!!

Thats $115 in shipping costs out of MY POCKET! $70 of which is due to the damn defective phone!





I hate posting these kind of things in forums but I know phonesource-usa is on here ever so often. I just wanted to make sure I get their attention.

I had read negative comments about this vendor Phonesource-USA. But ignored that and tried to buy G-smart i120 phone from them through a friend in USA on 18th July 2007. It was a bitter experience. They just ignore you without any information after receiving the payment. "If you are anxious about your money/purchase order -better you ask"- policy. To cut short the story when asked atleast by 8th August 2007 can they deliver the phone, we were offered refund. When contacted again about g-smart i300 there was no reply. It is very strange that the company consistently collects the money with express fright charges when the product is not in stock. I have seen them posting lies. They have claimed to have 24 phones in their e-bay stores at the same time and I have not seem a single feedback on this phone from 18th July till date which shows he did't have the phone in the first place. I would advise prospective buyers to be careful with this vendor.

Hello, I don't know if this is the place to post but I might as well. Hofo should have some kind of cellphone merchant awards, you know somewhere you can post negative and positive review about sellers, kind of like feed backs on ebay or other satisfaction rating methods, cause alot of these sellers are not being good to their customers.

I've had perfect customer service from them. Shipping arrived about 4 days from Hong Kong to the Virgin Islands, where a normal letter would take 4-8 days. Even after I purchased my phone from them, they still did stuff for me, like asking how the phone was working, and if I ever had any problems with it to send it back to them. They provided me with my IMEI# on my invoice (which I need to do a return if needed)

They was the best. I purchased a phone from them in May, and I contacted their CS in July.

Cool - Some People expect a 24/7 response time. Are you to afraid to post under your real HoFo account ?

Also, sometimes it helps to look into a spam inbox. If this doesnt help we got a customer service # 702-362-6891 ( MO-FR 9.00-6.00 ) remember we are on PACIFIC TIME and closed over the weekend.

@bigb252: Thank's for great support, we like to make our customers happy, but some 'kids' are to difficult to deal with.

"Some People expect 24/7 response time" ... Wakeup Phonesource-USA the enquiry was dated 6th August 2007. Till date no effort to reply to that mail. Instead you are again exibiting your arrogance attitute towards customers calling them KIDS, see spam etc., Incidentally I am a system administrator, setting up spam filter etc., I also understand difference between 1.2 MP and 2.1 MP Camera (check your e-bay site with reference to g-smart i300). The intention of the original mail was to show you the customer feeling. Instead of addressing to the same and improving the scope on that front, you are de-tracting the whole issue. However, I thankyou somuch for devoting your precious time. I will be in touch with you for my future requirements ?
