Im trying to do a master reset of my phone cause I want to sell it. I downloaded some instructions form recelluar.com but i keep getting an error when i get to the MSL Code.

Reset to New:
Phone must be SPC-Unlocked!
1) Press #, #, 7, 8, 6, #
Display will reset to Life Timer:
2) Press OK
3) Press �� to Reset Default, press OK
4) Press 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, OK, OK
Phone will reset (this will take about 100 seconds)
Phone will reset

After step 3, i enter the 0s and i get Invald Code as soon as i hit the 6th zero.

the reason you are having that error is because your msl code is not 000000. if you have a data cable you can get your msl using bit pim in nv_002. if you dont you have to call sprint and tell them that your phone is asking for it and normaly they will give it to you. you can get a decent data cable off amazon for under 5 $

I downloaded bit pim and i already had a data cable but the program won't detect the phone. I'll try calling sprint.

I contacted sprint and they gave me the number 1, 2, 5, 0, 3, 8. I dont know if that is specific for my phone or any phone. The reason the 0,0,0,0,0,0, didnt work was because the phone had been deactivated.
