Hey,

I was wondering if it was possible to change the open and close sound my phone makes when I slide it open / close. What programs are needed and which files need to be replaced?

if you go into profiles, then just turn..."Other Tones" off.... or I think it's in settings for "Phone"

i think you missed the point of his question, i would really like to know how to change the slide sound too!

nobody knows? it would be so cool to have like sword sound going off when sliding the phone.

I believe you can change this by altering the the theme in Nokia Theme Studio

Well I'm a big Metal Gear Solid fan, and the ringtone for my phone is the sound Snake gets when he gets a transmission. I want my slide to open and close with the sounds of the menus opening and closing in MGS too

well then do as BigE said: get nokia theme studio and make yourself a nice mgs theme. you can change all system sounds with nts.

you can change sliding sounds by downloading nokia s40 theme studio at nokia website..

Run the program in your Pc and open a theme file..

there is an option there that will let you embed a sound file in the close and open function..
