Where to get AT&T Firmware for RAZR V3

I love tinkering with stuff but I just got a RAZR V3 on new AT&T contract for my wife and they sent me one thats branded for Cingular(new phone but old stock) I know functionally it doesn't matter but how can I get everything to reflect AT&T. I called AT&T and they couldn't help, and told me to call Motorola which I did, and if any of you have ever called Moto you already know how that went(Non productive, and ultimately got disconnected).

Is there an easy way for me to resolve this.

I would say check the downloads site at www.modmymoto.com
They have alot of flexs there that might help. Be sure that you get one that is compatiable with your bootloader. Also backup your original firmware and S/W
Then use RSD Lite 3.5 or later to flash your flex.
Good Luck :-)

I've been searching for some time now for an at&t branded MP for the V3. I haven't been able to find one. What I ended up doing was loaded Aprestel's Monster Pack with Cingular Media Net. It's totally unbranded except for Media Net and it frees up about 10 MB on the phone. I then created a 96 x 80 pixel graphic GIF file of the at&t logo and used it as the outer display graphic. The stock Motorola Monster Pack you can find on Motox is also good. There's a lot of stuff on there that's not included on the Cingular branded flex. If you load the stock Motorola Monster Pack you do not get the Cingular Media Net.

Hope that helps a little !

If you flash to the unbranded monster pack you can still have media net. You just need to manually input the settings which is fairly easy to do. Just follow the instruction in the at&t forums wiki . You just won't have things like at&t mall, but thats a good thing.

If you're referring to inputing the Web Sessions parameters, that's true, you can do that manually. However, you will still not have the total functionality of the Media Net "browser" that comes with the Cingular MP. You can use another browser like Opera but I find that it's too slow. There is a way to enable the Media Net browser but it is way more involved than just editing the Web Sessions.
