Has anyone tried the Motorola D650 http://www.motorola.com/motoinfo/pr...balObjectId=179 with the iPhone? I would really like to use my Motorola S9 bluetooth headphones with my iPhone.

I have tried the Jabra A125s which works fine with iphone and several BT headsets, but have not tried the Moto 650. The Jabra is also MUCH more compact than the moto. There is another thread or two about this here...

the s9 will bond with the iphone but the sound will only come out of one earpiece... it is not a2dp compatible at this moment

I'm hoping someone has tried the D650 because it has a2dp. Even though the s9 will pair without the D650 it won't play music through the headphones.

I have read the other threads but I see the A125's cant play music and answer calls at the same time. I'd like to know if the 650 will do both.

The problem in the iphone, as it wont send sound from phone calls to BT while it is sending sound to the dock connector BT module.

I'm not so sure about that. While its connected to my Alpine IVA W200 radio through the lower connector it will pause when I get a call and send audio out through my bluetooth hands free kit which is also also Alpine connected to my radio.

But you aren't using two types of bluetooth simultaneously. My test shows it wont do BT phone calls if it is streaming music via an A2DP BT dock connector dongle. i.e. it is allowing only one BT connection at a time, either built-in or dongle. .

Your experience says you can connect to stereo via wire (dock connector) and still do BT phone calls, but your alpine music isn't via A2DP BT.

I tried it and it doesnt work!

the D650 really does not work? I had been considering getting that one with the Black S9 bundle some folks had for sale on eBay, but decided to go with the icombi for ipod bundle at wiresaremessy.com. I am pretty pleased with the performance. You can check out my review thread at http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1218240

here is more proof the D650 doesn't work.

I have it and the S9 and tried it today. Worked with a regular ipod but no music when connected to the iphone.

Did I read that the the A125s DOES work?

My Jabra A125s and both Jabra BT620 and BT8010 worked on the iphone for music. The iPhone does give the alert to turn off radios because the A125s device isn't compatable, but if you choose ignore you can use it.
